This Week's Brand Story: Project Description

This blog customization project is designed to transform your existing Showit + WordPress blog into a cohesive, SEO-friendly, and beautifully branded space that aligns with your photography business.

Over the course of five days, we’ll customize your category pages and individual post templates, install and style the Rise plugin for better content navigation, and ensure your blog feels like an intentional extension of your website—not just an add-on.

From design layout to functional SEO structure, we’ll focus on making your blog both visually compelling and strategically organized to support your content goals—whether that’s showcasing client stories, building your brand authority, or attracting new leads.

You’ll walk away with a clean, polished blog that not only reflects your visual style but also works harder behind the scenes to improve user experience and visibility.

Wednesday: Category Setup & Plugin Integration

April 23, 2025

I’ve strategized your blog category titles, created layout options for your main category page, and designed the sub-category page. I also recorded a video walkthrough explaining the strategy behind each layout.

The category page isn’t linked to WordPress yet—we’ll connect it once you’ve picked your preferred layout.

Click this link to send me your choice. Excited to hear what you think!

Thursday: Main Blog Page & Single Post Design

April 24, 2025

I’ve finalized the main and sub-category pages, designed the main blog page, and the single post layout as well.

Right now, the pages aren’t linked to your WordPress blog just yet—this will be finalized on Monday once I receive your final feedback. In the meantime, the links within the pages will still lead to the current layout.

I’ve recorded a quick video update to walk you through everything—feel free to watch it when you get a chance!
